C. Dorman Ltd, founded by Charles and Ellen Dorman in 1950, quickly established itself as an East African coffee exporting company of high repute. Today, the company continues to be one of the region’s preeminent exporters. C. Dorman is still deeply committed to purveying coffees of the highest quality, but also to supporting the coffee farmers of Kenya, Tanzania and Rwanda through investment in sustainability programs - activities that it believes will secure the livelihood of the coffee farmers and the future of coffee production within the region.

C. Dorman is proud to be associated with Coffee Management Services Limited (CMS), an agronomy, farming and production service provider, that was established in 2006. CMS offers smallholder and estate farmers across the region extension services, training in good agricultural practices, financing and access to agro inputs.  It also owns and manages primary processing units, dry mills, and serves as a marketing agent to facilitate stronger negotiation power for producers through promotion of direct farmer contact with buyers.

C. Dorman offers roasters and importers around the world a large variety of qualities and grades from East African coffee producers. Our Nairobi based trading and quality control team has an abundance of knowledge of the region and is able to advise and provide tailor made solutions for every buyer’s palate. At our modern export facilities, we are able to process and pack coffee to individual client specifications, and our experienced logistics team is able to ensure timely and professional shipment around the globe.
